About
I was born in Pocatello, Idaho. It was a good place to grow up in the 1950s. I lived in Las Vegas, NV, for over forty years. Both locations have influenced my writing. When I moved to Las Vegas in 1968 with my mother, the population was 50,000. We left and went back to Pocatello. When I returned in 1978, the population was 220,000. But more than that, I hope they entertain.

WINTER’S BREATH
Wes Davis 2/2/2014

Taken from you like a purse by a thief running by as you stagger
Fighting the cold, and the wind and hoping for some relief
Breath freezes as it takes its leave of you, pausing as it falls to earth
